Megan is a passionate, proactive and reflective human service professional with over 20
years of experience working in the Disability and Child Protection sectors encompassing
front line practice and leadership roles. Megan has experience in a diverse range of roles
including Residential care, Foster and Kinship Care and homelessness services. She has been
in the NDIS sector directly for 6.5 years being a specialist support coordinator and Team
Leader of Support Coordination.
Megan values the importance of relationship building, transparency, and communication in
her work. Megan's utilises a person-cantered and trauma-informed approach in recognising
and addressing the unique needs and experiences of the individuals she supports. Megan
aims to foster relationships founded on collaboration, cooperation, and professional ethics.
She also strives to carry this ethos when working within a multi-disciplinary team and
working alongside colleagues from different professions. Megan enjoys developing strong
partnerships and working collaboratively with mainstream services such as Child Safety,
Youth Justice and Correctional Facilities.
